The most important event that took place in One Piece Chapter 1078, “Escape Limit ” The most significant event was the disclosure of York the Greedy as the traitor of the Vegapunks. It was revealed that it was York the Greedy who has been arranging Egghead’s activities for the last three months. The situation is made complicated by the fact that she’s involved more than the other Vegapunk, not even Stella.

The answer could be simpler in the case of another Vegapunk. The Straw Hats can either let them die to their fate or even take them out. It could be similar to the way Kanjuro Kurozumi was dealt with. It would not be a major loss if one of the Vegapunks was killed. York is a key player in the Satellites.

York isn’t responsible for analyzing or collecting data. York is instead responsible to carry out all vital bodily functions, like eating and sleeping. York is the source of energy for the other Vegapunks to continue their work. If she’s unable to fulfill her tasks and her satellites die, they could be unable to continue their work due to exhaustion or starvation.
There is a possibility that additional Satellites might be able to eat and sleep independently, however, this isn’t been verified. It could be a challenge for those who don’t have the human body. Robotic satellites like Pythagoras or Edison might require someone who can consume their meals. Even if they get rid of York, Lilith or Atlas may still require enough to satisfy them both, and maybe Shaka.
The original plan will not alter if York is required by satellites. The seven Vegapunks of Egghead will be transported by the Straw Hats on their way to the next location. They’ll have to now be the Greedy prisoner, instead of their guest.

It all is contingent on the fate of Pythagoras or Shaka. Both appear to have been killed, but One Piece fans are used to rethinking deaths and expecting a fake out. York could get a second chance if they’re both alive or able to be saved. If they fail to save York, then she could be considered a monster that cannot be redeemed and is subject to what’s in store for York.
It’s not known what is going to be the fate of York after she has been accused of being an informer. Or, she could be taken to the Thousand Sunny as a prisoner or taken into the custody of The World Government. Or, she might be executed. This option might not be the most appropriate based on the importance of her character.
