Epic Cyclops Cosplay Turns the X-Man Into DC’s, Dark Knight
Instagram user Adrian D., (@cosplayorbust) has transformed X-Men Cyclops/Scott Summers leader to DC’s Dark Knight.
In a truly amazing Cosplay that DC’s Batman joined forces with Marvel’s Cyclops to make “Cybat.”

(@cosplayorbust) and with photography by BC Photography (@bryantcoxphotography), the “Cybat” cosplay reinvents DC’s Dark Knight as one of the founding members of Marvel’s X-Men, Cyclops. The caption reads: “With great power comes the responsibility of being a great leader.”

The Instagram video features the X-Men: The Animated Series track, and also shows iconic features of DC’s Batsuit, Cyclops visor mask, and glowing eyes. Adrian D. posted other Batman cosplay images and videos, including a second glimpse of the “Cybat”.
Cyclops and Batman The Most Recent Marvel and DC Adventures
Cyclops/Scott Sommers was created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. The character first was introduced in X-Men #1 in 1963. Cyclops is a veteran leader of the mutants who are the titular heroes and an integral part of the team’s leadership, has seen his world turned upside-down by Mister Sinister after Sins of Sinister. The primary theme of the show is Mister Sinister however Cyclops as well as a few other X-Men have also been seen on a regular basis.
Bruce Wayne, created by Bob Kane with Bill Finger in 1939, was first introduced in Detective Comics#27. Batman is a part of DC’s core trio along with Superman and Wonder Woman, and a regular character in Justice League is one of the most well-known and popular superheroes.

Batman’s solo comics recently placed Bruce in a new variant of Gotham City after a battle with Failsafe the robot villain. In Batman#133, Chip Zdarsky (by Mike Hawthrone), Adriano Di Benedetto (by Tomeu Morey, Tomeu Cowles, and Clayton Cowles), Bruce was confronted by a red-suited version of the Riddler with a question mark tattooed across his face. He also faced the Venom-addicted Harvey Dent/Two Faces and was subsequently found in caves beneath the city where Catwoman/Se Tim Drake/Robin was the witness to Bruce’s disappearance as they were fighting Failsafe and has been attempting since to save Bruce.

Batman’s second DC mainline series, Detective Comics is a battle against the Dark Knight and a sinister family known as the Orghams. The Orghams plans for Gotham City are not fully revealed, but they have released demons known as Azmer. Talia al Ghul and Mister Freeze also have prominent characters in Ram V’s series. Two-Face, who recently revealed Batman’s secret identity is another character who plays a significant part in the story.
